Jai Thai Travel is a small, curated hub of hand-checked tour and transfer operators across Thailand — every one personally vetted on the ground by founder Lars Hoorweg, who has spent five years building these relationships from Chiang Mai. The model is a cooperative: operators keep 85% of what guests pay — where the big platforms typically leave them 70–75% — own their guest relationships, and communicate with travellers directly from booking to day-of. The best travel experiences come from the people who live and work in these places. Our job is simply to check, personally, that every one of them is the real thing.

Pick a destination, choose a tour or private transfer, and book online in minutes. Your confirmation includes your operator's direct WhatsApp — from then on you're talking to the person actually running your trip, not a call centre.

Yes — free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start, on every tour and transfer. Everything you paid online is refunded in full. Within 24 hours of the start, payments are non-refundable.

Both work, at the same price. Pay in full by card at checkout, or reserve with a 15% deposit and hand the rest to your operator in cash on the day. Your confirmation states the exact cash amount, so there are no surprises.

A small circle of 8 independent local businesses — boat captains, cooking teachers, guides and drivers — each personally vetted in person by founder Lars before their first listing goes live. No open sign-ups, no resellers.
