1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Jai Thai platform, operated by Jai Thai Travel, a trade name of AppaSP (also trading as ThaiTourConnect), a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in the Netherlands, KVK number 89898893, Oldenzaalsestraat 797, 7524 AD Enschede, the Netherlands (“Jai Thai”, “we”, “us”).
By using Jai Thai Travel, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our platform.
2. Use of Service
Our platform is designed for responsible travellers looking for authentic experiences. Use of the platform must be lawful and respect the cultural integrity of our local partners.
- You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
- Commercial redistribution of our content without express permission is prohibited.
- Users are expected to engage respectfully with the platform’s community and support systems.
3. Booking Rules
When you book a journey, you are entering into a direct legal agreement with the local operator identified on the journey’s page. Jai Thai provides the platform through which that booking is made and confirmed.
You are responsible for checking the itinerary, inclusions, meeting point, and any operator-specific requirements before you complete payment. A booking is confirmed only once payment has been received and you have been sent a confirmation.
4. Payment Terms
We believe in transparent pricing. All costs are disclosed upfront, with no hidden platform fees.
- Deposits: A percentage of the total trip cost is typically required at the time of booking to secure your dates.
- Balance Payments: Remaining balances are generally handled according to the specific operator’s schedule, often 30–60 days before departure.
- Currencies: Prices are displayed in local currency and your preferred secondary currency for convenience.
5. Cancellation Policy
Each journey has a specific cancellation policy determined by the operator. These are clearly labeled on the itinerary page.
- Cancellations made more than 45 days prior often receive a full refund minus an administrative fee.
- Some boutique or remote experiences may have non-refundable components due to pre-secured logistics.
6. User Responsibilities
As a traveller, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate personal and health information required for safe travel.
- Obtaining necessary visas, travel insurance, and health certifications.
- Complying with local laws and cultural norms of the destinations visited.
7. Operator Responsibilities
Operators on our platform must maintain high standards of safety and service quality. They are responsible for accurately describing their journeys and fulfilling the services promised in the itinerary.
8. Liability
Jai Thai Travel acts as a platform/connector. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jai Thai Travel shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from your trip or interactions with operators.
