Join the Jai Thai Network

A booking platform for a hand-checked few. Keep more of what you earn.

Jai Thai is a small, curated network of tour and transfer operators across Thailand. We do not list everyone. If you run a legitimate business, take real care of your guests, and want to reach more travellers while keeping a fair share of every booking, this page explains how the network works and what being part of it involves.

How the Platform Works

Most booking platforms work the same way: operators pay around 20 to 30% commission per booking, and the ones who pay more get shown first. The platform earns from every booking regardless of which operator wins it.

Jai Thai is built differently. Every booking splits the same way:

  • 85% to the operator running the tour.
  • 5% to a shared marketing pool that promotes every operator equally.
  • 10% to run Jai Thai.

That is what cooperative means in practice. The platform exists to serve the operators on it, and the operators share the cost of being found. When a traveller books a tour through Jai Thai, the price they pay reaches the people running the tour and stays in the community where the tour happens.

What You Get

What You Get as a Jai Thai Operator

Your Own Website

Every operator on Jai Thai gets a dedicated website. Your own website, your own story, your own tours and transfers listed under your name. Travellers browse your website, read about you, and book directly with you.

A Share of The Marketing Pool

The 5% shared marketing contribution funds platform-wide SEO, content, and advertising that benefits every operator. You are not competing for visibility based on spend. Every operator is promoted through the same shared effort.

Direct Bookings, Direct Contact

Bookings go straight to you, with traveller details and a direct WhatsApp contact included. There is no call centre handling your guests. The relationship between you and the traveller starts at the moment they book.

Visibility Where Travellers are Searching

Every tour and transfer page on Jai Thai is built for search and AI visibility. Your tours show up in Google results, in AI travel assistants like ChatGPT and Google’s AI overviews, and on platform-wide content like destination guides and activity pages. You reach travellers at the moment they are deciding, not just after they have already chosen another platform.

Network-wide Rewards That Bring Travellers Back

When travellers create a Jai Thai account, they earn points redeemable across tours and transfers platform-wide. A traveller who books a cooking class with you earns credit they can later use with another operator, and vice versa. This creates a Thailand-wide referral network that benefits everyone.

The Jai Thai Verified Mark

Passing verification puts the Jai Thai Verified mark on your listings and your profile. Travellers know it means someone came, met you, and took your tour. It is the shortest answer to the question every traveller asks: can I trust this operator?

Who We Take On

Who Can Join

Jai Thai works with local tour and transfer operators across Thailand. To be listed on the platform you need to be operating legitimately, have a genuine track record, and be willing to go through a personal verification process.

Valid Thai tourism operator licence
Public liability insurance
A track record of real guest reviews
Based in Thailand, operating tours or transfers personally
In-person verification

Meeting the requirements is the starting point, not the decision. Most operators who apply are not listed. We take on a handful each season, and only where we can visit, take the tour, and put our own name behind the result. If your operation is legitimate and your tours are genuinely worth recommending, introduce yourself.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

No. There is no joining fee and no monthly subscription. The only cost is the 15% total contribution on completed bookings: 10% to run the platform and 5% to the shared marketing pool. If a booking does not happen, you do not pay anything.

Five percent of every booking goes into one pot that pays for SEO, content, destination guides, and advertising for the whole network. No operator can buy a better position with it. The spend is reported to operators, and the traffic it creates is shared.

Yes. Jai Thai is not exclusive and does not ask you to leave anything. Most operators keep their existing channels and find that direct bookings grow over time.

Licence and insurance checks, a look at your review history, a conversation with you rather than a form, and then we take your tour as a guest. Nothing goes live before that last step.

For operators we take on, usually three to six weeks from the first conversation to going live, depending on how quickly we can visit you. During the launch period we are not adding operators at all, so introductions sent now are held for the next intake.

We are launching with our founding operators and want their first season to go well before the network grows. Vetting properly takes time, and we would rather add a few operators well than many badly. Introduce yourself now and you are first in line.
